In this module, students will learn about wind as a sustainable source of energy, what energy is, where it comes from, the differences between renewable and non-renewable energy, all while linking their understanding to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal number 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. Students will demonstrate their understanding through a variety of hands-on experiments, and conclude the module by constructing and coding a functioning wind turbine that is capable of measuring its revolutions per minute.
