Welcome to the new combined Climate Action Kit! This new kit combines all the robotics parts and coding projects from the Land kit and Energy kit into one universal Climate Action Kit!
The Climate Action Kit is designed to empower students to tackle climate change issues and explore the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals while learning important digital skills.
The goal is to inspire students to recognize and solve problems in a creative and empathetic way. After learning the background and context of each issue, students will design and prototype a solution using the kit components and a BBC micro:bit.
This online course bundle is designed to be used in conjunction with a physical Climate Action Kit from InkSmith.
- Grade Level: 2-12
- Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
- Recommend: 1-4 students per kit
- 1 micro:bit required per kit (not included)
All robotics parts in the kit are designed to be disassembled and reused.

Do I need a Climate Action Kit?
Yes! These online courses are designed to be used in conjunction with a physical kit. The physical Climate Action Kit also contains a coupon code to access these courses for free.

Why is there a cost for the course bundle?
Every Climate Action Kit includes free access to our online curriculum content. You'll find a coupon code in the physical kit which can be entered at checkout to discount the bundle down to $0.
Do I need a micro:bit?
Yes! Every Climate Action Kit requires the use of at least one micro:bit to complete all the coding and robotics projects.
micro:bits are not included as part of the physical Climate Action Kit but are available for purchase on the InkSmith website.
Who are these courses designed for?
All of the Climate Action Kit courses are designed for educators or teachers to deliver in the classroom. Each course contains a Teacher Guide, Tips & Tricks and classroom-ready presentation materials for students.
At this time, the Climate Action Kit courses are not designed for students to enrol in and progress through on their own.
